Tom Everhart ha cominciato nel 1980 a lavorare con Charles M.Schultz, entrando a far parte in pochi anni della ristretta cerchia di disegnatori dei Peanuts selezionati da Schultz. A fine anni '80, ha cominciato a dipingere i suoi Peanuts Paintings, che ha esposto nei più celebri musei del mondo, a cominciare dal Louvre.
The Tear (litografia su carta) è dedicato alla memoria di Charles Schultz, nel 2000 in occasione della sua morte, il 12 febbraio 2000.

Ieri sera ,mentre ascoltavamo canzoni "medie" italiane una domanda su "ti piace Grace di Jeff Buckley", ha aperto le porte ad una chiacchierata musicale ( una delle tante) su due spiriti artistici di una sensibilità incredibile, due poeti, due cantori angelici , due navigatori delle stelle, due tra le voci più belle in assoluto di tutti i tempi.
